Will the Threads API enhance or ruin Threads?

Threads is opening up it’s API which means scheduling and social media management tools will be able to connect. Yay!

But I’m conflicted.

I enjoy threads because people have to be present there. But I know that it can’t survive unless they let us marketers in with scheduled content.

What do you think, will us marketers ruin threads?

I’d be more inclined to use it if it’s linked to AP, just because that’s where I spend most of my time.

I don’t think we will ruin it necessarily but it might become more prone to spam if some actions can be automated?

It might become a more viable alternative to Twitter/x?
