So all the buzz is about Web3, and it can be certainly very overwhelming and intimidating. There’s a lot of new terms; there’s a lot of new technology.
I think the best way to think about this from a social media perspective or a brand perspective is simply this:
I think Web3 is a way to help people belong.
So if you cut through all the hype, you cut through all the buzzwords, just think about:
How can we use these tools to build true community?
(Which is different than an audience.)
I think there’s an opportunity to try to build true community and belonging, and I think that is one of the most important aspects of the future of marketing.
