trigger warning - right after this amazing video a video auto-started showing great violence. Just click away right after you watch the infographic animation.

All due respect for the cool AF illustration, but a look at this website is a great indicator why web3 is not stable tech for the world we live in. It is full of misinformation, replete with Hilary Clinton is a reptile, 5G causes COVID, chemtrails analysis, vaccines are contagious, pizzagate, and the whole range of one after another deranged theories.

As social media professionals, this is a constant threat to our work as well - can you imagine a mob trashing your brand online, or escalating violence offline, because of a fake video or a shady website making shady claims which goes undetected because web3 is not governed by content moderation rules of web2?

This is so cool!

I wholeheartedly agree. Lots of misinformation, and deregulation means it’s allowed to run rampant.

Odysee has had a lot of accusations of being a right-wing platform, and it’s an issue they are trying to address. The difference between Web 2 and Web 3 social media platforms is that removing content is virtually impossible. The only option will be to delist the content.
In the Web 3 world the user owns the content, not the platform. This could lead to a bumpy start to the Web 3 era.
