The Judge Group is actively looking to interview candidates for a Social Media Strategist for a remote position with one of our gaming clients.

As the Global Manager of Social Strategy reporting to the Director of Social, you will work with the internal Entertainment Marketing Team to develop social strategies, support fandom-first activations, and coordinate cross-functionally to implement marketing campaigns that improve player experience and engagement. You will work closely with our teams and external partners to uphold social media best practices and deliver on the high expectations of both the company and players around the world. You can ingest the big picture mission and codify it into attainable activations and milestones, infusing insights into strategies and pivoting based on performance data. You’ll help support organizational goals, develop player-focused content, and work across the company to ensure they all driving towards a unified vision when they talk to players and fans.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead social media strategies and content for products, campaigns, and programs within their entertainment portfolio, collaborating with the global and international social teams for amplification and localization.

  • Work across Brand, Creative, PR, Influencer, Community, and regional teams to champion player-first ideas and build globally integrated experiences.

  • Help build a connection with existing players and potential new players, both with organic and paid strategies, and propose new ways to engage with them.

  • Develop goals and performance metrics for campaigns, monitor to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Support global marketing and social channels including copywriting, publishing, and managing social communities with a player-first mindset.

  • Propose and create process and workflows to grow their social audience and cultural influence.

  • Seek out the latest platform best practices and industry trends across gaming, music, and media and develop a vision for future opportunities to ensure their place in mainstream pop culture.

  • Advocate for and empower their international social teams to help them build a thriving internal community of players.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in social media and digital marketing.

  • Proficient in all relevant social media platforms around the world (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, and Facebook just to name a few) and tools (such as Sprinklr).

  • Experience building and overseeing social media campaigns across multiple platforms from kickoff to execution.

  • Experience working with in-house and agency creative production teams and an understanding of balancing the art and science of digital marketing and communications.

  • A proven track record of growing healthy fandoms, generating social buzz, and delivering on engagement metrics.

  • Natural eagerness to not only ideate, but implement that idea.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in TV, film, and/or music marketing.

  • Experience at an agency working on social campaigns and/or briefing and managing creative agencies.

  • Paid media experience, ideally within social media (biddable, high impact, custom digital, influencers).
