Social Media Strategist - Integrity Music Nashville Metropolitan Area - Hybrid

Integrity Music is seeking an individual who is passionate about social media across all platforms and networks. Social Media Strategist should be a great communicator, storyteller writer and project manager who understands how to prioritize messaging and evaluate and measure the effectiveness of campaigns to engage a targeted audience.

Strategic Responsibility:

The Social Media Strategist position exists to help plan, create and execute social media marketing plans, in conjunction with Content Marketing Managers, that align with artist release strategies and strategies to grow the influence of Integrity Music social media properties (including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.). This position will work closely with all marketing teams to promote our artists, their releases and Integrity Music originated projects. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the creation and design of engaging and sharable content that helps to tell the narrative of Integrity Music. A qualified candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of content strategy and best practices for social content to ensure that content supports social media objectives and is consistent across all digital channels. This position, along with the rest of the digital strategy team, will rely on web analytics and social data insights to ideate impactful content and use the art of telling digital stories to optimize our digital reach and influence.

Job Description:

Analyze and govern social content to better understand our audiences and content needs.

Works closely with marketing directors and managers to plan and execute social media campaigns.

Is responsible for quality assurance (writing, editing, & proof-reading) of social content.

Has a working knowledge of social media best practices and stays current with the changing market to ensure that social content is in line with overall digital content strategy and industry best practices.

Manages the overall strategy for Integrity Music social media postings, as well as directing and executing individual production tasks.

Works as part of a team to plan and execute internal and external marketing strategies.

Creates, publishes, and maintains textual and multimedia content in accordance with digital strategy and marketing plans.

Manages and grows social media channels and fosters community among audiences.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Formal Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field.

Experience: 3-5 years experience as social media strategist or similar role.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices. Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics. Knowledge of the Christian music industry highly preferred.

Equipment Knowledge: PC and/or Mac Computers. General office equipment.
