About the role:
Gratsy is seeking a creative Social Media Strategist to support our branded campaigns and our community. This role will ensure that our social media accounts remain engaging, consistent and exciting. This position will be responsible for building our social strategy, creating engaging and relevant content for owned social channels, crafting value-added content to our community, and developing plans to grow the Gratsy community.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the power of social media, and desires to lead Gratsy’s social strategy. The ideal candidate thrives on keeping tabs on what’s trending on social, specifically Instagram and TikTok trends.
Responsibilities:
- Directly manage Gratsy social media accounts, including the creation and strategic development of relevant and engaging social media content
- Create engaging and on-brand value added content for the Gratsy app
- Explore new ways to expand engaging and on-brand content for our channels
- Develop social-first activations to generate engagement and grow the community and social media audiences
- Pull data and social listening insights from social campaigns
- Keep track of relevant trending content, share it with the broader team, and incorporate relevant trends into Gratsy’s social strategy
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Strategist or a similar role
- In depth knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Expert experience with social media listening tools (IE. Sprout Social)
- Ability to create social content in Canva or Adobe
- Established writing and editing skills
- Knowledge of SEO, keywords, and strategic use of hashtags
- Strong attention to detail, along with time management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with ownership mentality and tenacity for execution and delivery
- Ability to adapt to quickly changing business priorities and trends
- Collaborative nature and ability to work cross functionally with both internal and external partners
- Skilled at managing multiple creative campaigns executing at different stages at the same time, while still meeting timelines and KPIs
- Enjoys keeping a finger on the pulse of trends across social media, events, and creator partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient at taking photos and creating social media videos
- Experience with email and SMS marketing tools (IE. Klaviyo)
