Job Summary**
As a Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies for a variety of industry verticals. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop social media campaigns that engage their target audience, increase brand awareness and drive conversions while overseeing a team of coordinators to implement your plans.
Responsibilities
- Develop social media strategies for a variety of industry verticals
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and target audience
- Oversee development and implementation of social media campaigns by back office team that increase brand awareness and drive conversions
- Oversee creation of content calendars and work with the back office content team to ensure the timely and accurate execution of all posts
- Monitor and analyze social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends and emerging platforms
- Collaborate with the account management team to ensure client satisfaction and project success
- Provide regular reporting and insights to clients and internal teams
- Continuously test and optimize social media campaigns to improve performance
SKILL SET
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in social media strategy, preferably in an agency setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
- Experience developing social media campaigns that drive the desired engagement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
