  • Instagram has begun removing the Shopping tab from some users’ bottom navigation bars (it’s still there, just in a harder-to-access location).

  • Instagram has released a new Parent’s Guide that contains information on privacy and control features, best practices for safety and mental health, and suggestions on how to discuss these issues with teens.

  • Instagram is testing a new “Notes” feature that lets users post a temporary (24-hour) text-based note that’s visible to followers of their choosing.

  • Twitter has released its first-ever edited Tweet, complete with visible edit history.

  • Twitter is launching a new “immersive” video interface—including full-screen vertical video view, with a very TikTok-esque vertical scroll discovery system—plus increased video presence in the Explore tab.

  • Twitter Blue subscribers on Android can now access podcasts in the revamped Spaces tab.

  • LinkedIn has released some new features for Company Pages, including post templates and clickable links, pinned comments, “page commitments” (basically a place to share your company’s values), and more.

  • LinkedIn also launched several new features for advertisers including Offline Conversions, Audience Insights, Document Ads, and a new Media Library.

  • After a test, TikTok is officially rolling out content downvotes (and upvotes!) to all users.
