Description: Breakaway Music Festival is seeking an in-house Social Media Producer to help develop and execute a clearly defined social media strategy that elevates the marketing and business initiatives of the company that continues to build and serve our devoted fan base. Reporting to the Head of Content & Strategy, the Social Media Producer will be responsible for driving brand awareness, engagement, referral and advocacy through Breakaway’s social media channels including, but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant emerging technologies.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Create organic short form videos, specifically TikToks and Reels, to post regularly across each channel. This will include strong participation in videos as this person will serve as the face of Breakaway Music Festival
  • Manage & implement posting schedule across key social platforms to maintain an active & robust presence
  • Develop and maintain content calendar to ensure communication aligns with business priorities and initiatives
  • Proactively engage consumers online to drive favorable brand conversations
  • Create and edit content for all current and future social channels
  • Develop and execute contests and sweepstakes around key selling periods, promotions, and events
  • Track ROI and success for all campaigns
  • Responsible for assisting in branded social content, including brainstorms and content creation
  • Monitor community discussions and consolidate top-level findings and insights for senior management team
  • Explore, identify and stay head of new social opportunities, channels and innovations in order to proactively direct current and future opportunities
  • Oversee and manage multiple project plans and deadlines to ensure all initiatives launch in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience managing social media programs
  • Super comfortable being on video and being front facing on camera
  • Digital and social savvy with a passion for digital innovation
  • Experience with short form video editing
  • Highly engaged in social networking sites
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; capable of working both independently and collaboratively
  • Deep understanding of how users interact with digital content and how to create great user experiences through content
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to problem solve; proven strategic thinking
  • Highly organized and able to multitask while maintaining a clear and proactive flow of communication and ownership of tasks
  • Experience using media software tools to assess social engagement
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, organizational & presentation skills
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
  • Proven track record preferably with music company or similar background
