Position Summary:

As a Digital Media Channel Specialist, assisting the Manager, Communications Digital Media with management of our social media following across all channels and support the Snap-on franchisee network via social. Execute other focused content projects as needed.

Key Tasks:

  • Create, design, and write relevant content for Snap-on branded social media platforms, (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat & TikTok)
  • Provide social media coverage at events such as our yearly tool show and key races within our race program (NASCAR, IndyCar, NHRA).
  • Create social assets that are appropriate for specific channels and brand initiatives as needed
  • Provide social listening and monitoring of social channels
  • Work within established brand guidelines specific to intended style and tone
  • Maintain private Facebook groups
  • Assist in overall management of Snap-on social channels
  • Content management of UGC & Stories
  • Engage customers — follow them, like their posts, and interact with them in a genuine and authentic ways
  • Responsible for animations provided to the franchisees
  • Provide back-up for weekly “Key News of the Week” (KNOW) e-mail franchisee publication
  • Provide back-up for franchisee portal
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to obtain content for business goals and work flexible hours when needed
  • Provide support for the photography team and social content during the Snap-on Franchisee Conference (SFC)
  • Execute other projects as required


  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong editor and writer
  • 3-5 years’ experience administering social media channels for a multi-level organization
  • Attention to detail – being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
  • Strong grammar and proofreading skills
  • Creativity and a strong sense of design. Must be proficient with Word. Excel and PowerPoint and be familiar with design software, such as InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
