YouTube Social Marketing is a team of creators, strategists, community managers, subject-matter experts, analysts, copywriters, producers, designers, trends forecasters and operations managers who work around the clock to develop the most engaging experiences for creators and viewers on behalf of the brand. We maintain best practices, standards and strategies grounded in insights to develop successful, community-first content, and campaigns.

What We’re Looking For

  • BA/BS degree in the social media marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in marketing/social media
  • Experience running influencer programs and working with creators
  • Experience in project management, creative development, and creative production
  • Track record of delivering high-quality, impactful work for a loved consumer brand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Gen Z programs or campaigns
  • A background or interest in gaming

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Social Marketing Manager on the YouTube Social team, you’ll create and execute social and influencer campaigns & programs to find and connect with Creator & Gaming audiences. These can run the gamut from social editorial moments, to fully integrated campaigns and everything in between. No matter the project, you’ll use your excellent strategic and creative instincts to create innovative work that delights creators, gamers and gaming creators, and drives their engagement.

Having previously worked in the digital media industry, and with a deep knowledge about its evolving landscape, you will come in with the skillset to immediately impact our business. To be successful, you’ll need to operate on the edge of culture and social media, think unconventionally, challenge internal and external norms and relentlessly push to earn cut-through for our brand in a noisy, crowded space. You’ll have an insatiable curiosity for all things pop culture, especially gaming, a drive to innovate and break new ground, an impeccable eye for detail, and the confidence to navigate ambiguity and multiple stakeholders, with watertight project management to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Work with the XFN team to build and execute social and influencer campaigns that ladder up to our marketing objectives, and drive love for and engagement with our brand
Manage and collaborate with creative agency teams to produce work that is high quality, on time, and within budget
Track and measure the impact of social and influencer campaigns, in partnership with social analysts
Capitalize on emerging social and industry trends as well as having a finger on the pulse of culture on YouTube, to drive work that is innovative and earns cut through
