The team at The Balanced Life is looking for a passionate and energetic full-time social marketing expert who has a passion for creating engaging content. This candidate will need an entrepreneurial spirit, zeal for healthy living, and believe that their work can change lives for the better. This is a purpose driven position that requires someone who is highly collaborative, strategic, creative, and able to challenge the norms of social media to establish a point of view that is differentiated for The Balanced Life brand.

You’re always a step ahead when it comes to the latest shifts and trends in social media, consumer behaviors, and content creation and sharing. And you’re not afraid to challenge the norms of social and content marketing to help establish a point of view that is differentiated and meaningful for The Balanced Life brand.

This position brings together purpose, content strategy, sales, design, and story-telling, and provides the candidate with an ability to think strategically from story creation to creative execution across all social channels (FB/IG, youtube, Pinterest, etc). This position is perfect for someone who likes to see their content strategy directly tied to the results of the business. The Balanced Life is a fast moving, always evolving brand that celebrates individuality and innovative thinking. This is a hands-on position where you will own, manage, collaborate, execute, and report.


  • Develop and manage a holistic content strategy to guide content creation across our channels and audiences.

  • Develop and execute social marketing strategies and ideas to help grow our audience, increase engagement and ultimately grow brand love and advocacy.

  • Develop and create engaging content for our social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok).

  • Manage the day-to-day tasks of running our social channels, including engaging with and nurturing our community on social.

  • Develop and track success and performance metrics for social and content strategy for continuous optimization.

  • Design and produce creative elements that can flex across a range of communication and audiences.

  • Ensure brand cohesion in all our communication - both visual and written in tone and voice - especially when engaging with our community .

  • Collaborate with cross functional team members to optimize creative and content delivery and to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.


  • You have 4+ years of experience managing social media and in content marketing.

  • You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, strong creative and design acumen and skills, and experience working across a variety of digital projects.

  • You have a proven track record of demonstrating impact of social marketing against business goals.

  • You have excellent communication skills; you are able to communicate and present ideas clearly in writing and face-to-face.

  • You have excellent time management skills; you know how to manage multiple priorities and juggle multiple and competing deadlines.

  • You have proficiency in social media management and listening platforms such as hootsuite, HubSpot, sprinklr and other similar tools. Experience in google analytics a plus.

  • You have proficiency in design tools such as photoshop, after effects, indesign, and illustrator

  • You have experience working in groups and in collaboration with other teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,500.00 - $87,500.00 per year
