Job Title: Social Media Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Social Media Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for managing social media for all current and future Southwest Spirit brands, and secondarily assisting on various marketing projects as need. This position requires a savvy social media expert that will be responsible for creating new, strategically focused digital content designed to grow the brand awareness across all spirits brands. The right candidate will contribute social media guidance for key platforms and be able to answer questions related to real-time content performance, audience engagement and social media trends. This person will be active in our platforms daily looking for opportunities to engage with our consumers & customers and passionate to be an integral part of growing our audience organically. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Marketing: 70%
Work closely with VP of Marketing and social media agency to oversee content creation, calendar and paid social activity.
Plan, create, manage and execute daily social content across all platforms and in real-time as needed to increase organic reach.
Support the daily social engagement of creative content distribution across social channels for all Southwest Sprits brands.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, stories, images, social graphics, video, etc. using various apps) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
Responsible for monitoring and responding to DMs as well as social conversation in timely manner, interacting with other accounts and acting on pertinent posts.
Support the brand voice and personality per brand through all the various social media touch points.
Utilize social platforms to grow community in a way that is authentic and engaging.
Maintain continuous social activity and identify opportunities for deeper and expanded engagement.
Ability to track and report out on metrics
Marketing Support: 30%
Maintaining assets for consistency in filing and updates of key sales and marketing assets.
Helps by filtering and prioritizing sales requests for new assets, manages asset portal of website and serves as a traffic coordinator for creative jobs.
Assists with promotional items per region: sourcing with vendors, ordering per budget with manager, work with graphic designer + vendor on artwork approval, and a project lead to develop a swag store website.
As needed, work with cross-functional teams, (marketing manager for direction/approvals, sales, operations, finance, vendors, and third-party agencies) to support the development and execution of point of sale items.
Help with coordination of internal needs for culture and employee engagement committee.
Filing, submitting and coordination for industry awards, events, and promotional opportunities.
Support in-house and external event coordination in DFW and possible travel to cover important national events for social coverage.
Assist manager on various project requests as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of proven social media marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media and/or equivalent.
Must have expert level proficiency in key social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest
Proficient in phone photography & video shooting, editing and processing; experienced in applications, such as Canva.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Creative Suite a plus.
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize with proven ability to produce digital assets, juggle multiple projects and work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Possess an understanding of key performance metrics used to measure success of social media.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fairly fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work and develop relationships in a cross-functional team.
Be able to demonstrate a proactive approach and drive to improve current procedures and processes where appropriate.
Positive attitude and out-going team player who has a flexible approach to work.
