+ POSITION SUMMARY

As our Social Media and Content Manager, you’ll manage 6-10 client accounts.

You’ll be responsible for crafting fresh content that aligns with our proven social media strategy and approach. In addition to social media content, you will lead email marketing campaigns on platforms like Mailchimp and FloDesk.

FlyDog Digital does have a team full of experts in their own field - you’ll be owning the social media and content creation field. We expect this candidate to collaborate with our agency in a fun and professional manner.

This is a contract-to-hire role. Candidates will begin as a 1099 Contractor and move into a full-time position in ~3 months for the right fit. <<

+ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content / social calendar creation and management
  • Support clients in building the brand presence on all social media platforms through organic content creation: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google My Business
  • Write captions, create graphics, create / edit Reels and TikToks, and schedule all posts
  • Write email campaigns including photo selection, copywriting, graphic design, and deployment
  • Conduct keyword research for social media and blog performance
  • Copywriting, layout, photo selection, graphic design, and deployment of blog posts
  • Spearhead social reporting, pulling statistics, and leading monthly client analytic review calls
  • May assist with paid social campaigns as needed
  • Communicate with clients to obtain new photos and videos
  • Stay current on client industry trends and news
  • Write all content that is reflective of the client’s brand voice

+ REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience in social media or digital marketing
  • Proven track record of exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to take on different brand tones and styles
  • Proficient in developing high-impact creative for social media
  • Strong understanding of all popular social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google my Business
  • Proficient in reviewing, analyzing, and deriving key insights from reporting metrics
  • Google Analytics certification (or ability to become certified before starting)
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail, proper spelling and grammar are required in all posts

+ PAY

This is a contract-to-hire position. Candidates will begin as a 1099 Contractor and move into a full-time position in ~3 months for the right fit.

Contract: $22-32/hour, depending on experience
Full-time: $40-$55k/year, depending on experience
