The Social Media Content Manager will be responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook,
Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Specialist may also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design.

The role ensures that all social media platforms are up to date with all activities in Soccer Central.


a) Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification

b) Generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action

c) Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content

d) Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community

e) Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

f) Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

g) Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions

h) Act according to Soccer Central values

Knowledge and Skills

a) Cross and multilingual professional prepared for new projects, with entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about sports and its industry.

b) 3 or more years of proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist

c) BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

d) Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and
communication skills

e) Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

f) Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels

g) Fluent in English, Spanish is desirable
