The Social Media Manager will develop, deliver and implement content strategies across social media platforms, building awareness, engagement and product service adoption for SECU. This role will manage the SECU reputation on social channels, with focus on express SECU’s culture and story creatively.


  • Passionate consumer advocate dedicated to delivering relevant, valuable and engaging content through social channels.
  • Committed to developing cohesive, relevant and meaningful campaigns across the consumer purchase journey.
  • Analytics minded, capable of measuring digital, from ROI to campaign and channel performance.


  • Perform research, benchmarking and trends to inform social strategy, content strategy and audience preferences.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
  • Recommend and manage paid social advertising, establishing specific objectives and reporting on performance/ROI.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content.
  • Monitor and report social metrics across the consumer journey.
  • Manage monitoring and response with audience and communities, collaborating with internal stakeholders on responses.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.
  • Serve as the marketing representative in the development, management, tracking and reporting for marketing project, expenses, and margin to ensure all achieve expected outcomes and meet required deadlines.
  • Manage and update social media management software as required.
  • Implement and manage all processes and reporting required to maintain all compliance and advertising standards.


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience and education in integrated marketing strategy, planning, and tactical experience with knowledge of, and experience across all marketing channels.
  • Strong client-focused orientation and business-related skills.
  • Understand latest digital technologies, and social media trends.
  • Strong team player, leader, self-starter and positive catalyst who can motivate others.
  • Ability to run results-oriented campaigns simultaneously across multiple products and corporate initiatives.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Detail orientation with strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Familiar with marketing tactics, especially direct to consumer channels, as well as an ability to report out results and ROI.
  • Proven organizational, coordination and follow-up capabilities.
  • Experience in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to act as a change agent; to operate with urgency; and to challenge the status quo.
  • Able to speak English fluently.


  • Financial industry background.
  • Project management experience a plus.
  • Retail/consumer driven marketing experience.
  • Ad agency related experience.
