About This Role

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our team and help shape the voice of our brand across all social media channels.

As the Social Media Manager at Poker Power, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy to enhance our brand presence, engage with our community, and drive growth across all relevant social media channels. You will work closely with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling content and ensure consistency in our online messaging. Your experience, creativity, and strategic mindset will be critical to the success of our social media initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to maintain and strengthen Poker Power’s brand voice across all social channels.
  • Content Creation: Create, curate, and manage engaging content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with our audience, respond to comments, questions, and feedback, and foster a sense of community and engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics, track the performance of campaigns, and regularly report on key insights to make data-driven improvements.
  • Channel Growth: Develop and execute strategies to grow our social media following, increase brand visibility, and drive relevant traffic to our digital assets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and management to align social media strategies with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Agency Coordination: Collaborate with external agencies as needed for content development, advertising, and other support services.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and the latest best practices in social media marketing.

Your Experience

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in social media management, preferably in the edtech or gaming industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms and tools, as well as an understanding of their algorithms and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of paid media and ability to follow and engage with like-minded brands and influencers to amplify Poker Power.
  • Start up experience with proven ability to communicate across channels with the brand’s voice.
  • Proven track record of driving app downloads or purchases via social media
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights to inform strategy.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Passion for poker and an understanding of the poker community is a plus.
