To date, we have launched and operate Metal Pay (digital banking and crypto wallet) and Proton SDK a distributed ledger for identity and interaction with the card and banking payments settlement layer.

Metallicus is looking for a Social Media Manager to join our team. This position will plan, manage, and execute social media campaigns. We are looking for someone that will take charge and be responsible for owning the day-to-day social voice and representation of the brand, driving Metallicus’ social media/digital strategy, growing Metallicus’ social media presence across various social media channels and creating measurable business results.

This role is open to North America (US/Canada)

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage social media content through use of an editorial planning calendar and social media management tools
  • Create strategy to grow audiences across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other sources
  • Define and drive the social content calendar
  • Determine KPIs, monitor performance, optimize and adjust as needed
  • Track daily, monthly, and quarterly social media metrics - including but not limited to followers, engagements (likes, re-shares, re-tweets, etc.), impressions, and asset view rates - and analyze that data to further improve social strategy
  • Produce and maintain clear reporting around Social Media efforts for communicating to your manager
  • Be the voice of customers and by listening and reporting relevant takeaways
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and externally to create, support, and execute content, campaigns and initiatives across key channels
  • Ensure all content adheres to Metallicus’ voice and brand guidelines
  • Proactively develop innovative new ideas and creatively explore growth opportunities in the rapidly changing social and digital media environment
  • Actively engage with online communities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience managing and running social media accounts on behalf of the company
  • Demonstrated experience developing organic, and sometimes technical content to increase engagement in measurable ways across many social platforms
  • Possess excellent judgement, written and verbal communications skills
  • Thrive at multitasking and be a solid team player
  • Previous social media marketing, communications or public relations experience
  • Strong editorial skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership, management skills
  • Able to make critical decisions under time constraints and a full workload
  • Able to be on-call and support our live events over the course of a weekend
  • Familiarity and knowledge with cryptocurrency and/or blockchain technology is a plus
