We are looking for a storyteller. Help us tell the world about what we are doing in our communities from raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network to Celebrating Hometown Heroes with local news stations. In this role you will participate in select community events.

You will be working with a talented team of marketers to fulfill organizational objectives. In this role you will collaborate closely with the management team and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand business needs. You will be expected to coach and educate credit union employees on social media best practices and create sharable content for them. In This Position, You Will

About the Position:

  • Develop platform-specific strategies designed to engage, build and protect the Lafayette Federal brand.
  • Work with colleagues and partners to develop social media marketing campaigns that resonate in the feed, while meeting the business goals.
  • Use social media marketing tools to create and maintain our brand
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measure a campaign’s performance against set KPIs
  • Gain a strong understanding of all legal, compliance and regulatory requirements associated with communicating externally on the bank’s social media channels. Work with compliance, legal and all relevant stakeholders to gain necessary approvals
  • Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness, consideration and conversion through various social media channels, media plans and creative executions
  • Ensure brand visual and voice consistency across all social media and/or influencer and micro-influencer marketing executions, including multi-cultural campaigns
  • Manager all comments and feedback; properly escalates/communicates business impacting information
  • Help plan and attend Credit Union events
  • Facilitate opportunities to driver user-generated content

Qualified candidates will have

  • A positive credit standing

Experience

  • Three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Deep and/or broad knowledge within the marketing social media and influencer marketing discipline
  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro
  • Strong tactical understanding of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training

  • Professionalism, both visually and behaviorally.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing a changing workload.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities becomes necessary. Must have the ability to interact with people and focus on details and follow-up on times sensitive material.

Physical Requirements And Work Environment

  • This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets.
  • This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
  • This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
