The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various social media platforms.

Administer company social media accounts by creating original captions and content while managing posts and responding to followers. Assist with acting as the company’s voice to achieve marketing goals and express company views creatively through verbal and non-verbal communication both on and off camera.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain a strong, creative and engaging social media presence to engage viewers directly to drive sales growth
  • Originate and develop creative, engaging, shareable, content-driven stories, relying on creativity, memorable storytelling and unique perspectives
  • Compose and produce unique and captivating stories
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Creative/Art, Media Relations, and eCommerce Sales to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layouts such as Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout
  • Recommend and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Appear on camera for product advocacy and product demonstrations
  • Research and apply new digital technologies and social media trends, design tools and applications
  • Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders using multiple tools to ensure effective visual communication
  • Perform similar level or nature of duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field, or equivalent years’ of directly related experience; and,
  • One (1) year work experience with social media or marketing; and,
  • One (1) year work experience with content creation

  • Sales and marketing principles

Skilled in:

  • Using computer hardware, including keyboard, mouse, monitor, and related hardware
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Exhibit effective copywriting skills
  • Deliver creative content through text, image and video
  • Set goals, track, report, and present Key Performance Indicators for each social media account
  • Create creative content (text, image and video)
  • Work with web design
  • Stay current with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
