Position Summary

The Social Media Manager is responsible to communicate the heart and soul of ¡FCBC! to our audience and people that have yet to discover it. This role is an integral part of the brand team and will contribute to overall marketing efforts through the creation of digital media content, amplification of our voice and engagement with our community.

Responsibilities

Community Management
• Monitor social media channels daily.
• Ensure the ¡FCBC! brand voice is authentically communicated across all media outlets.
• Ignite and engage our online community with a two-way dialog.
• Respond/redirect any inquiries, customer reviews, and comments on social media platforms in a timely manner.
• Curate & nurture partnerships with influential people and businesses that align with ¡FCBC! brand.
• Manage monthly loyalty social media programs that inspire organic UGC and brand loyalty.
• Manage and maintain accurate business and brand information in third-party sites (including but not limited to Untapp’d, Beer Advocate, RateBeer, Single Platform, Yelp!, Google + more).

Content Creation
• Develop, execute, and manage our social media calendar.
• Showcase the brand voice in the form on a digital story across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
• Create and shoot photo/video content using both internal and external resources.
• Translate business and marketing objectives into content that is clear, purposeful, and visually understood.
• Retouch, color correct, and manipulate images.
• Manage and communicate with team on project workload, timelines and be capable of balancing multiple priorities at once.
• Closely monitor trends in social media, the alcohol/beer industry, design, and popular culture.
• Attend major brand events for the purpose of documenting via photography and video where required (may include nights and weekends).
• Assist marketing team in creation and execution of social media launch plans for new beers, events, and campaigns.

Key Success Factors
· Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
· Proven track record of managing social media platforms and increasing engagement between brands and consumers
· Must be able to showcase past projects in relevant work samples
· Solid knowledge and experience with key social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok).
· Experience writing and evaluating advertising copy.
· Proficiency with video and photo editing software.
· Clear understanding of digital file standards and practices, including resolution, web standards, file types and strengths, color management, and file management
· Extreme proficiency with Mac and PC based computing systems.

Minimum Qualifications
· 2+ year of experience in social media and digital content and development
· Degree in either marketing, communications, advertising, or business
· Strong communications and interpersonal skills
· Excellent project management and planning skills
