Fleur du Mal, a luxury lingerie and ready-to-wear based in New York City, is looking for a full time Social Media Manager, to own and execute all aspects of social for the Fleur du Mal brand.
As the Social Media Manager, you will oversee the scheduling, content and community management for all social channels, with the objective of increasing brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Who you are: a highly creative Social Media leader with a profound understanding of social media marketing, a strong vision for creating compelling content, along with proven experience in the fashion or luxury space.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Set a comprehensive strategy that further advances the brand and drives the company’s social media goals, including new user acquisition, customer loyalty, and overall community management & engagement
- Identify goals and success metrics, and report on performance weekly to senior management
- Develop social campaign recaps and hindsight’s, measuring and analyzing performance
- Lead the development of new platform strategies and launch plans for existing social platforms
- Create community building strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement across all relevant social channels
- Coordination of Social focused Partnerships + Giveaways
- Conduct continuous platform/trend research to inform best practices across all social channels
- Management of social intern
Social Content Development & Delivery
- Drive ideation around social voice, storytelling, and content to bring the brand’s multiple dimensions to life
- Own the content calendar, developing strategies for seasonal and weekly product drops
- Develop a broad range of content types including video, still imagery, and animations to be leveraged across social platforms
- Shoot weekly and monthly content as requested and needed for brand use
- Identify relevant social media trends and translate them into unique and own-able concepts for the brand
Key Qualifications & Prior Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in social media strategy, management, and execution for a luxury, retail or fashion brand
- A deep understanding of the social media landscape and community management
- Experience and track-record in running best-in-class social media campaigns
- Strong Instagram and TikTok experience a must
- Start-up and rapid growth experience is a plus
- Highly creative and can develop new ideas to be a leader in the industry
- A passion for creating engaging brand content with a strong visual impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic video editing experience required
Annual Salary:
$60,000 - $70,000 Based on Experience
