THE POSITION:
Our roster has an opening with your name on it
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our social team who will strategize and implement real-time sports statistics and milestones into deliverable brand content across multiple social media channels.
THE GAME PLAN:
Everyone on our team has a part to play
Identify and curate authentic, engaging and timely social media content consistent with FanDuel’s brand presence in social through audio, video, editorial and other multimedia channels
Develop and maintain social content calendars, best practices docs and tentpole campaign plans for all FanDuel Group verticals across social media
Introduce social strategy pillars for FanDuel social media on new and emerging digital media platforms, around tentpole events and supporting internal marketing priorities
Act as the Organic Social team’s point of contact for key internal stakeholder relationships as needed (including but not limited to PR/Comms, Ad Sales, Partnerships, etc.)
Manage cross-functional content marketing campaigns from strategy through execution (including but not limited to paid marketing, branded content opportunities, etc.)
Monitor and optimize KPIs across FanDuel’s social media platforms, campaigns and partnerships
Assist in managing social media coordinators
Assist in managing FanDuel’s roster of external social media influencer/contractor talent
Attend in-person FanDuel events throughout the sports calendar as needed, ensuring complete social media coverage in a professional manner
THE STATS:
What We’re Looking For In Our Next Teammate
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of previous editorial or social media experience (working in social, sports, design or journalism preferred)
Experience in building strategy across all current social media platforms (Including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok); Fluency in Photoshop
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, holidays if necessary, as well as being on call for urgent PR matters’
Ability to multitask in real-time; Strong grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail
Extensive knowledge of internet sports culture (passion for fantasy sports and sports betting is a plus)
Ability to manage projects across social strategy, social execution, internal/external partnerships, personnel, copy editing, and reporting.
