Anthropologie is seeking a strategic, analytical, and process-driven Social Media Manager to drive brand awareness and grow Anthropologie’s social channels through execution of marketing messages that align with brand-wide initiatives.

This role is responsible for supporting strategic development, overseeing the social editorial calendar, and executing monthly campaigns in order to deliver brand awareness, traffic, engagement, and brand love.

Must be able to present and deliver a campaign from beginning to end and have strong reporting and analysis skills. Together with the Director of Social Media, the Social Media Manager will create and execute a comprehensive and thoughtful social media strategy for Anthropologie social channels to drive business goals.

This role is an integral part of the Marketing team working and partnering closely with cross-functional teams such as Copy, Design, Merchandising, PR, Creative, and Brand to ensure product and message are aligned, with timely and relevant deployment.


  • Support Director of Social Media in creating one-pagers, monthly, and quarterly social strategic plans for brand campaigns across @Anthropologie channels inclusive of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
  • Roll out and execute social campaigns that drive business goals, community growth, product launches, and other brand milestones from beginning to end.
  • Lead, create, and distribute campaign and channel recaps to internal teams and cross-functional partners.
  • Oversee the management and execution of the editorial social media calendar by updating key business stakeholders on activities, results, wins and losses, while also ensuring alignment with key business initiatives that reinforce key brand moments.
  • Work with Director of Social Media, Senior Manager of Social Media Content, and Merchandising teams to formulate weekly Instagram cadence dependent on editorial calendar needs and product priorities.
  • Lead daily and weekly organic paid strategies to amplify content and acquire new customers for @Anthropologie to achieve monthly quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Work closely with analytics and paid team to measure the value and impact of our social media channels and campaigns.
  • Support Director of Social Media with quarterly updates and annual budget process.
  • Manage monthly budget process and submit invoices to finance monitor payment status.
  • Identify emerging trends and lead efforts to capitalize on new features and innovation within social media channels.
  • Stay abreast of the social media landscape, developments, and trends.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the brand’s product, customer and policies.


  • 5-7 years of experience in social media marketing at a retail/ e-commerce organization or agency
  • Strategic, results oriented marketer with a proven track record in social media campaign execution.
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and experience in managing people and brands.
  • A leader and self-starter with an ability to develop and empower a high-performing and growing team.
  • Paid social ad creation and campaign execution within platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest are a plus.
  • Skilled at organizing, planning, and executing simultaneous projects and activities.
  • Comfort in in experience working directly with external partners, vendors, and influencers.
  • Very strong presentation and communication skills. Team player and collaborator.
  • Excellent knowledge in the social media landscape. Understanding in cross-functional relationships with brand marketing and public relations.
  • Innovative and excited to bring ideas to the table.
  • Data driven and highly analytical in order to build traffic and grow an engaged audience.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, New Media or related field experience
