Job Overview:

This position will be responsible for the development and execution of cross-platform social content, which requires a solid understanding of all social media platforms, and a thorough understanding of social media marketing. Coordinator must have a passion for sports and a foundation of golf knowledge.

Social Media Coordinator must develop original content and help guide other content featuring photography, design, and relevant copy. Coordinator will monitor, listen and respond to users on all platforms to increase the following and visibility of assigned brands.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the Social Media Manager to execute social media campaigns on all social platforms, including content planning, story ideation and content curation, to drive engagement and action
  • Create social content as well as other marketing material as assigned
  • Engage on all social media platforms with followers and potential followers to build a community around the brand while increasing the brand’s reach
  • Use discretion and integrity to act on company’s feedback
  • Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of all social media campaigns and community engagement
  • Collaborate with teammates within the golf division to implement customer feedback, innovate on strategies and help develop best practices
  • Identify social media and digital trends that provide relevant opportunities for the brand to enhance its foothold within the golf community and increase brand awareness


  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred, or 3+ years related experience and/or training preferably in youth marketing, fashion, and/or sports marketing in the social media space
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of golf is preferred
  • An understanding of the Adobe Suite is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting, grammar and spelling
  • Experience including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn and emerging platforms
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software and the ability to gather and report this data
  • Working knowledge of social media paid advertising campaigns
  • Strong understanding of user-generated content management and content marketing
  • A creative mindset that shows through your work
  • Deadline-driven and detail-oriented attitude
  • Strategic content creation and excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision but also be able to collaborate with a team to improve the company’s brand marketing potential
  • Flexibility to post multiple times per day, during ‘off hours’ and weekends
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) are required
  • Enthusiasm for joining a growing team focused on sporting goods
  • Ability to interact with multiple personalities and coordinate cross-functionally
  • Highly organized individual who can ensure daily tasks and long-term objectives are accomplished
