The PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) D3 Digital Marketing & Social Media Team is looking for a strategic, results-oriented Social Media Community Manager & Content Creator who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative marketing environment. Contribute to the strategy and help oversee activation of our social media marketing efforts for the DORITOS brand in emerging channels like TikTok. This role will be responsible for leading both proactive and reactive consumer response as well as supporting social strategy, and content creation for DORITOS on emerging channels within the internal agency team D3 at PFNA. The successful candidate will be a social media expert, adept in applying the latest best practices in LoFi content creation and consumer engagement across emerging social channels. They will support the creation of new assets including shooting photography and video content designed specifically for TikTok, Instagram Stories and Reels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead social media community management in emerging social channels, delivering 1:1 consumer response that builds brand affinity and drives engagement
  • Contribute to the development of original concepts designed to meet brand strategic objectives & brand standards on TikTok and Instagram
  • Create and capture LoFi photos and short-form videos for use on emerging social media channels
  • Craft engaging social media copy as needed
  • Provide edits to photos and video content as needed
  • Apply the latest social trends and performance insights gleaned through reporting to inform development of breakthrough social creative concepts to strengthen brand equity and establish an engaging presence
  • Support ad hoc social listening to deepen consumer understanding around specific topics and deliver insightful point of view back to Brand Team
  • Lead and support in developing social strategies for DORITOS in emerging social channels through close partnerships with key Brand and Insights Team stakeholders
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and social media platform partners to ensure best-in-class execution always, everywhere

Qualifications

Education / Certifications

  • Minimum Qualification: Undergraduate Degree
  • Preferred: Concentration in Marketing, Communications and/or New Media preferred

**Work Experience
**
1-2 years of experience working client-side in marketing or related discipline, at an ad or media agency, media platform, or publisher

Skills / Capabilities

  • Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience leading community management and creating content on TikTok / Instagram on behalf of brands
  • Experience and strong understanding of the social media marketing landscape and growth of creator/influencer marketing
  • Experience managing influencer/creators to develop engaging social media content
  • Basic understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives
  • Creative thinker who can bring a brand voice to life across a variety of social media touchpoints
  • Ability to think strategically, coupled with a pragmatic results orientation and proven track record of delivering strong tactical execution
  • Proven ability to develop cohesive brand social strategies and recommend supporting tactics
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages in a dynamic and compelling way (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – willingness to roll up your sleeves and get creative in developing in-house Lo-Fi social media content
  • Graphic Design, Photography/Videography experience and Video editing skills a major plus
