We are looking for a qualified Social and Digital Media strategist to join our team. The Social and Digital Media Strategist develops and implements a comprehensive social and digital media strategy, aimed at increasing traffic, engagement, and brand awareness across digital touch points for our clients.
As a Social and Digital Media Strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills and be able to handle social media/digital accounts in a cohesive way. If you are creative and have ideas about how to present a brand on a multiplicity of social media channels and digital platforms, we would like to talk to you.
Strategist Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving growth opportunities and strategic branding through data-driven digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Bring fresh thinking to programs across organic social media, paid social media, email marketing, blog, and paid search.
- Lead strategic objectives and leverage agency resources to meet goals.
- Support the development of compelling stories and experiences for interactive content across web, social and mobile platforms.
- Monitor social media and digital space to gain insights and analytics on sentiment, topics, conversations, and influence.
- Create editorial calendars and support concept development of big ideas.
- Work with account teams in the development of Creative Briefs that inspires content creation.
- Act as the client-facing voice at meetings and strategic sessions.
- Present to clients and process client input into actionable next steps.
- Review and approve all work of your direct report before it goes in front of the client.
- Accountable for analytical and performance reports.
- Identify areas of improvement.
Strategist Qualifications:
- Three years of experience at an agency or brand focusing on social media and digital marketing.
- Hands-on experience using social media and digital platforms for brand awareness.
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to present strategies and campaign ideas to the client.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and analytical problem solving.
- Experience working with Sprout Social, Canva, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Associated Press Style Guides, or comparable technology with the ability to adapt quickly.
Location:
San Antonio, TX (this is not a remote position) must be willing to relocate and drive into the office daily.
