Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Social Media is responsible for elevating the JPMS brands and advancing its mission through social media. This individual will oversee day-to-day operations of JPMS’s social media presence including strategy, editorial and content creation with goals of building awareness for the organization and connecting with new followers. The ideal candidate will be an innovative social media and digital marketing professional who has successfully managed and grown social channels and developed original digital content. This individual should be passionate about our mission and excited about the opportunity to build and execute social strategy. While this position is heavily centered around social media, the person in this role will collaborate with other marketing leads on JPMS’s overall marketing efforts.


  • Oversees day-to-day operations of JPMS’s social media presence, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, Pinterest, and YouTube
  • Manages and develops direct reports by providing mentorship, coaching, structured assistance, instruction, and inspiration for growth
  • Develops and executes monthly content calendar as well as more built-out campaigns & initiatives
  • Architects data & measurement strategies to show a clear ROI from our efforts and optimize performance opportunities for our social media channels
  • Responsible for all social media and content budget planning and tracking
  • Expands JPMS’s social media presence, followers and engagement through creative content and storytelling
  • Ensures brand and campaign consistency for all areas of social media influence
  • Oversees brand social media mentions for opportunities to amplify community and strengthen brand affiliation and engagement
  • Drives influencer marketing efforts by sourcing influencers for content creation (evergreen and campaign focused)
  • Generates seamless e-commerce experiences directly in social channels that help impact sale conversions
  • Works closely with the team on other JPMS projects including JPMS’s website and marketing collateral
  • Makes sure best practices and processes are continually enforced for all social media and influencer activities
  • Collaborates on all visual assets for the Marketing Department
  • Other duties as needed within scope of role

Salary Description
$ 110000.00 - $ 130000.00

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing social media marketing strategy
  • 3+ years people management experience
  • Beauty industry experience highly preferred

Competencies / Skills

  • Excellent creative copywriting and editing skills
  • Highly engaged in and active on social media
  • Strong photography skills and a keen eye for design and ensuring visual uniformity across social channels
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; well-versed in developing social graphics and utilizing latest content creation technology (e.g. Reels)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and self-starter mentality
  • Ability to work independently with an openness to test new ideas
  • Strong communicator, decision-maker, and strategic-thinker
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow-up, and able to work in a team environment
  • A hands-on social media expert with experience in social media marketing campaign management, day-to-day publishing, editorial, content creation, and distribution
  • A well-rounded marketing professional with marketing experience in other areas outside of social media and content preferred
  • Experience with social media analytics platforms such as: Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, and native platform features
