We’re seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative leader who can help us position HubSpot as a cultural force in social media and spark brand love and conversation.

As a Sr. Manager, Social Media, your primary focus with be to spearhead the development of our social strategies and creative campaigns across multiple brand channels, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin and more. You’ll hone the craft of fostering organic brand love to generate community traction and earned media moments. Help scale the HubSpot social media team, create a center of social media excellence for global counterparts, and sub-brands (e.g The Hustle, HubSpot Academy)

Role Description

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Social Media to lead our expanding social team, and drive strategic development, creative execution, and optimization of global social initiatives. This person will play a pivotal role in resetting and re-establishing brand presence on social channels, fostering creative innovation and social media excellence within the team and agency partners.

**Key Responsibilities **

Strategy and Team Leadership:
Expertise in social media strategies, platforms, creative practices, scrappy “shot on Iphone” style video production, and an awareness of influencer trends.
Nurture a culture of continuous learning and innovation by staying current with social trends, tools, and practices, sharing insights across teams.
Collaborate with regional and sub-brand teams to adapt strategies for diverse markets while maintaining brand consistency.

Content and Creative Management:
Guide in-house and agency partners in developing strategic social campaigns and assets.
Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging resonating with target audiences.
Partner with external agencies to enhance social campaigns.

Channel Best Practices:
Develop platform-specific strategies to optimize content performance.
Maintain deep understanding of platform algorithms, features, and best practices and share these insights across the organization and teams regularly

Analytics and Performance:
Champion data, audience insights, and platform behavior understanding.
Work with Creative Analyst to share dashboards, best practices, and social listening insights.
Oversee recap reports showcasing channel health, community engagement, and test-and-learn insights.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in shaping national/global brand social presence.
  • Track record of successful social strategies and people management.
  • Profound knowledge of major social platforms, nuances, tools, and analytics.
  • Portfolio demonstrating culturally-relevant, community-driven campaigns.
  • Experience leading a social team in a collaborative, matrixed setup.
  • Deep internet culture understanding and platform trend awareness.
  • Thrive in agility, multitasking, and deadline-driven environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Creative mindset, strategic thinking, and tactical execution ability.
  • Flourish in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Cash compensation range: $144,000 - $216,000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all HubSpotters are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
