In order to help achieve that, Futurewise has launched the first-ever system of products solely dedicated to slugging.

Futurewise is seeking a Social Strategist/Senior Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of our owned content across all social media platforms. Under the direction of the Creative Director, they will ensure the brand stays true to its core values while generating excitement and relevance on each social channel with bold, unconventional storytelling. In this role, they will lead the creation and distribution of content that cultivates a loyal community and massively increases our reach and engagement. This person will be a key team member of an early-stage team - contributing creative ideas, creating content, building internal processes/infrastructure, and growing our community from the ground up.

Location: Remote, occasional travel required


  • Develop, grow, and diversify a best-in-class and differentiated social media presence across multiple platforms in order to drive brand awareness, cultivate an enthusiastic community, and acquire customers
  • Develop and crystallize an executable social strategy that aligns with our overall brand and marketing strategy, objectives, and KPIs
  • Generate content pillars and ideas that align with the social strategy, are timely and relevant to the current industry and cultural landscape, and are social media platform-specific
  • Tell our brand story in a compelling, entertaining, and culturally relevant way
  • Create and maintain a content calendar for all social channels, with key focuses on brand marketing, product education, editorial stories, and other content that creates connection and conversation with our community
  • Identify, onboard, and manage external creative partners, content creators, and influencers who align with our brand and needs to develop compelling content
  • Seamlessly execute social media brand campaigns, evergreen content, partnerships, and giveaways from start to finish, including strategy & planning, content development, creation, posting, and ongoing management/tracking
  • Lead social channel planning and execution for product launches and campaigns
  • Establish, track and analyze social and influencer KPIs, and utilize insights to adjust strategy and tactics to constantly improve performance and drive growth
  • Experiment with non-traditional and innovative methods to increase engagement and followers
  • Track trends, best practices, platform changes and developments, understanding how to keep ahead of the curve
  • Solicit and incorporate leadership feedback, and ensure alignment on the strategy and plan across the team
  • Work with Growth team to provide performance-optimized content for ads, and ensure synergy between organic and paid channels to optimize for holistic brand performance


  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing & content strategy/creation
  • A creative, independent thinker who is ahead of trends, witty, funny, and has a pulse on culture
  • A passion for creating content – ability to ideate, shoot stills, jump on camera, and create short-form video to keep up with daily and weekly growth trends
  • Expert in the social media space, with a fluency in the ins and outs of each major social media platform, especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, an eye for visual curation, and strong editorial judgment
  • Expertise in developing, maintaining, and executing complex content calendars
  • Proven track record of creating engaging, consistent video across social channels (especially TikTok) and driving channel growth (engagement, followers)
  • Deep understanding of and personal experience with the life/experiences of a young adult (younger Millennials to older Gen Z), and ability to create relatable, engaging, and optimistic content for this cohort
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, creative problem solving, and driving results
  • Adaptable with a positive can-do attitude in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills (verbal and written)


  • Compensation includes a $100-135K base depending on level of experience, and includes bonus eligibility and company stock options.
