Operation Homefront is sourcing candidates for a Senior Manager of Digital Engagement position. This is a remote opportunity.

Core responsibilities include social strategy and campaign planning, day-to-day content creation and management, creative production, writing organic copy, maintaining social calendars, and social media reporting.

Desired candidates will have:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in social media and content writing
  • Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing
  • Communications experience a plus
  • Google Analytics tools
  • Experience operating in a matrix environment desired
  • Facebook Business Manager
  • Sprout certification preferred
  • WordPress experience is a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Acceptable MVR (annually)
  • MS Office Programs
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Video editing

Primary job duties include:

  • Create and execute an innovative social media strategy that promotes our programs and campaigns, engages with our community, and further develops our brand identity
  • Maintain organic and paid social media calendars
  • Plan, schedule, tag, and publish organic social content
  • Write organic copy for all major social media platforms to include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
  • Monitor and moderate all social mentions of OH brand across social channels to inform reporting and identify engagement opportunities
  • Engage real-time with consumers who interact with brand social channels in positive conversations
  • Optimize existing organization-created assets, UGC and EGC when available to maintain an active real-time presence on social channels
  • Respond in a timely manner to PMs/DMs to ensure questions and complaints are being addressed
  • Moderate and manage crises in collaboration with IPR when applicable to protect our brand on social media
  • Drive the organization’s understanding of social media measurement, specifically owning the creation and delivery of social media KPIs for evergreen and campaign-specific deliverables
  • Partner with key stakeholders in social media strategy to plan for organic content needs
  • Collaborate with Corporate Relations/Cause Marketing teams to steward partnerships by helping create and deliver social content that aligns with giving levels, contractual obligations, and the social media strategy
  • Collaborate as needed with other departments and vendors to ensure support of online fundraising activities and integration of overall communications strategies consistent with messaging and branding and contributes to organizational goals
  • Identify influencers who organically engage with the brand that would be a good fit for brand campaigns and partnerships
  • Coordinate Influencer Marketing campaigns in collaboration with Integrated Public Relations
  • Work with Integrated Public Relations to write and execute an executive communications strategy to elevate the OH brand and amplify the reach and influence of OH senior leadership
  • Deliver reports and present to key stakeholders: informing brand of overall social engagement highlights and measuring performance based on key KPIs to generate key insights and content recommendations
  • Grow the Social Media Ambassador program to include the creation and distribution of a bi-weekly communication
  • · Assist regional staff in the creation of social media content and posting. Monitor program registrations and post to social to boost registration numbers as needed
