We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Marketing & Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing all social media strategies and activities in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. We expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement, with a focus on improved revenue performance.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for learning the hotel brand and strategy

• Maintain, manage and update all collateral assets for the hotel, adhering to all brand communication guidelines and standards

• Oversee property web pages and maintain hotel’s presence in the social media space to include updates, recommendations for changes and enhancements to content

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media playbook and strategy

• Own the social content calendar (organic and paid)

• Write all social content and collaborate on producing unique photos, videos, gifs

• Manage and drive overall digital marketing strategies including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social presence (social reputation and social media)

• Analyze and manage reputation platforms such as TripAdvisor, Yelp, Reviews, etc.

• Direct local marketing initiatives such as Google+ Local, Yahoo, Bing, and OpenTable listings

• Manage and oversee social media content

• Track and measure the success of social media campaigns and initiatives by using reports and analytics

• Stay up to date with latest social media best practices, technologies, trends in social media, design tools & applications and best practices

• Develop and execute proactive community management strategy

• Engage with influencers via social media to create a strong network

• Other duties as assigned

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Communications or related field

• Minimum of 2 years in marketing or social media experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Proven work experience as a social media manager

• Avid social media user and pop culture guru

• Excellent written and verbal communication, copywriting and multitasking skills

• Social and data analysis skills including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter insights

• Maintains a professional image at all times through appearance and dress

• Great leadership skills and critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics

• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)

• Able to work independently while being proactive
