Position Summary
Hasbro’s Action Brands division includes some of the world’s most iconic entertainment properties with Transformers and Power Rangers leading the way as firm favorites. With an opportunity to reach millions globally, this is a rare and exciting opportunity to shape how we communicate with our adult, fan and parent audiences on social media.

The Manager, Social Media for Action Brands, including Transformers and Power Rangers, will share a passion for entertainment, trends and pop culture. They will work closely with the Senior Director, Global Social Media, to contribute to and implement social strategies in close collaboration with the Franchise teams. They will charged with expanding our reach, growing brand engagement, championing trends and opportunities, and analyzing effectiveness across the globe.

A day in the life as a Manager, Social Media – Action Brands

  • Closely align with the Franchise team to ensure social media is integrated with and fully supports global brand, commercial objectives and 360 marketing plans. Be highly collaborative, build relationships and trust.
  • Manage the end-to-end social media for Transformers and Power Rangers accounts including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. With support from our creative team, you will create outstanding original content, with strong copywriting, scheduling and community management.
  • Measure effectiveness of channels by understanding, utilising tools to evaluate against set KPIs, ensuring our content and social strategies are successful and resonate with our communities.
  • Execute ‘test and learn’ strategies to new tools and formats across the social platforms. Share findings, backed by data, across the business.
  • Partner closely with Global PR, Corporate Communications, Influencer and Toy/CP teams to ensure social media is fully integrated and aligned with our well-rounded plans.
  • Be an in-house social media expert for Transformer and Power Rangers; share knowledge, plans and learnings with regional teams for local execution.

What You’ll Bring

  • An ability to handle brand presence on social media; you understand the responsibility that comes with working on high profile accounts and brands and can use them effectively.
  • A passion for Transformers and Power Rangers; you’ll live and breathe our action brands. A genuine interest is a must!
  • Proven experience of running and carrying out organic social media strategies. Previous experience with entertainment brands is highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of our communities, brands and values.
  • An ability to work autonomously in what can be a fast-paced environment. You’ll have good judgement and know when to raise matters to the Senior Director, Social Media for support.
  • A platform, trend led and innovative approach; you’ll be a true social media enthusiast who is passionate about entertainment and pop culture
  • A solid understanding of the social media landscape including platforms (existing and emerging), algorithms, challenges and opportunities.
  • A highly collaborative and team-orientated persona with demonstrable relationship management skills.
