**About the Role: **
Are you an ambitious creative with a gift for managing brands social media presence and creating compelling copy? Do you consider yourself witty, curious, and genuinely interested in connecting with others?

In this role, you will be the voice and personality of the Heineken USA brand on social media platforms, from consumer response management to briefing and executing assets that build our brand role through a network of agencies.

The Heineken brand team is seeking a Digital & Social Media Manager to own and increase online engagement across Heineken US organic social channels. Reporting to the Heineken Brand Director, you will be responsible for deploying the Big Brand Idea and campaigns across the Heineken USA social platforms. You will gain more experience in the digital strategy and planning process with the expectation of moving from analysis to deriving insights and implications about brand social performance to guide the development of the Digital Strategic and Annual plans.

**Key Responsibilities: **

The Heineken Digital & Social Media Manager will act as the brand steward and voice of the brand through the copy, content ideation, campaign adaptations and consumer engagement for all social channels in the US.

Directly responsible for the organization and deployment of organic social media content:

  • Sets cadence and deployment of assets through the planning, management, adaptation, approvals, and execution of content calendar for Heineken Social handles not limited to Facebook/ Instagram/ Twitter/ Pinterest.
    Acts as voice of brand through the development of impactful copy for organic social & Online platforms (Website):
  • Writes and post impactful copy that speaks the language of the intended audience, while being rooted in the voice of our brand. Provides copy support for any website updates or email marketing initiative requirements.
    “Always On” Social Listening Community Management and Engagement:
  • Daily monitoring of social media accounts; represents voice of brand and responds to consumer engagements, elevates potential community management risks to Corporate Affairs team at-speed. Daily reviews of trending topics to see where brand can engage with culturally relevant opportunities.

**Influences and plays a key role in the refinement and shaping of overall organic social strategy: **

  • Reviews overall annual brand plan (including but not limited to Summer Campaigns, College Football & Innovation Launches) and provides recommendation on asset requirements, adaptations and usage. Identifies additional content creation needs for US relevancy outside of core campaigns. Presents proposed concepts and social content calendar to manager.

**Assumes the lead role as Brand Steward for our organic social by ensuring content drives relevancy: **

  • Protects long term well-being of the brand by embodying brand positioning and strategy across every single engagement and post.**

End to end project management for approved content:

  • Ensures vision comes to life. Responsible in driving concept, developing copy, and partnering with in-house Content Creator/ Creative Studio to actualize approved creative asset and idea.
  • Manage all live social media posting & approvals where relevant from brand owned or sponsored events:
  • with Content Creator to generate increased engagement during “live” coverage events for those key brand strategic moments.
  • Proactively presents strategic opportunities that drive business goals and surprise and delight our consumers.
  • on top of trends and act as the voice of cool and culture by keeping brand team apprised of social insights and learnings, inclusive of new innovative channels and engagement tactics. Proactively presents incremental engagement opportunities that both excite online community and supports brand key business initiatives.

**Works with campaign brand-leads and cross functional agency team to drive relevant content amplification across paid social.

  • Supports brand team across PR, Sponsorship, and core campaigns for the amplification, development, and adaptation of relevant paid social.

Monthly social media reporting & analytics:

  • Providing insights and implications about XX content performance, consumer audience/ behaviors on social, competitor insights & best in class industry examples which further help drive brand digital strategy and increase engagement. Using these insights quarterly to influence & adapt content ideas.

Serve as ongoing brand champion to internal HUSA & External stakeholders, ensuring a strong level of profile for Brands within the HUSA organization.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

For this role we are looking for energized, collaborative and passionate person. With an entrepreneurial mind-set you must be flexible, get energy from driving change. The ideal candidate has:

  • 2 years minimum in social media or proven success in establishing strong social media presence.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a proven record of copywriting who can brainstorm innovative ideas/strategies to support brand initiatives with focus on storytelling, personality, and consumer engagement.
  • You have a passion and understanding of Gen Z/Millennial culture and trends, with an emphasis on social media and new mediums to reach our audience.
  • Flexible working hours and potential 10% travel. Open to occasional weekend & evening work in order to deliver timely response and/or maximize on any social media buzz. May be required to attend live events for coverage (Examples may include but not limited to ABQ Balloon festival and College Football Games)
  • Solid stakeholder management in a collaborative environment; the ideal candidate is able to work with various cross-functional teams inclusive of agencies, brand team members, corporate affairs and legal.
  • Share a mutual connection with our brand DNA – witty, curious, understanding of US Sunbelt markets & passion for College Football
  • Office attendance is required 2 days week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in marketing or writing strongly preferred
  • · Knowledge of the beverage industry preferred
