[Check-in: June] What are your wins? What are you working on? Accountability Progress Post

Hi Space Friends!

Happy June! What are you going to accomplish this month? Just a few weeks left in Q2! Are you going to hit your goals?

It’s time to push…and yes we have time to make things happen!

Here’s your June Accountability challenge…

  • Feel free to share your goals and plans for the day/week, then check back in.
  • Share your wins!
  • Celebrate a new client.
  • Ask for suggestions for challenges.
  • Shout from the rooftop that you’ve finished your client reporting.

You can post daily…post every week…post only on Mondays or Fridays. Whatever you need and works for you!

Can’t wait to hear all the cool stuff happening!

Don’t forget that research shows that when someone publicly shares their goals, they have around a 65% chance of success. However, having a specific accountability partner boosts that chance to 95%…so I’m betting an accountability community…we’ll each be at a 99.5% chance of success!

My new Executive Assistant is starting on Monday, and I am so excited to have this fresh start and new injection of skills and capability. We have historically hired entry level talent for this position, and this new team member comes with over a decade of experience. Investment in my team is really allowing our agency to level up in ridiculous ways.

We recently won our first contract for a municipal brand identity. It’s a bit of a touchy situation because the local board first decided to go with an agency out of a big city and spent over $50,000 on a brand identity that doesn’t really resonate with any of the stakeholders, and members of the community don’t get excited about it. They say they completed focus groups and round tables throughout the project, but we’re finding the included only specific people. I’m really excited to dive in and get representatives and members of the entire community involved to better tell the story of the town through their brand new visual identity.

Our clients and my team are upgrading quite a bit recently, but we’ve still been able to stay true to our mission to serve rural communities and businesses. I’m really excited to watch all of this unfold.

In the meantime, I’m headed into the penultimate quadmaster of my MBA journey and I’m so ready to have at least a 6-month break after graduation before I dive into any continued education. I may or may not take a two week nap sometime in December.
